Bridgette Andersen stars as the young daughter of an American businessman residing in Japan. The father's partner gives Bridgette a most lifelike toy robot, and before long the girl and the toy are the closest of friends. But when the day comes for Suzie to return home she finds she's not allowed to take TM with her, so they run away together.
